PERSONAL NOTES -- LOCATION OF AHADITH While reading the various
books of hadith currently available in English or with English
translation, (Muslim, Bukhari, Abu Dawud & Mishkat Masabih), I made some
personal notes to enable me to readily find any hadith and other important
information on Islam during the time of the Prophet صلى الله
عليه و سلم If my notes can help someone else as it has helped me, such person is welcome to make a copy of it. These notes are meant as an aid for locating hadith on specific topics only, and should not be quoted as an authority. Those who use them are urged to do so only in the manner intended. THE However, to enhance your personal Sadaqa Jariya, it is recommended that you copy and share with relatives and friends. Wherever “Allah” occurs, the Glorification سبحانه وتعالى must follow it. Wherever “Prophet” or “Muhammad” occurs, the benediction صلى الله عليه و سلم should accompany it. When the name of a companion occurs, it should be followed by رضي الله عنه or رضي الله عنها as is appropriate. A few useful hints: In the references the letter “B" stands for Bukhari; “M" is for Muslim; “A.D” is for Abu Dawud and “MM" is for Mishkat Masabih. When a reference is given as Bl-87-115, it means Bukhari, volume 1, page 87, number 115. Should any errors be discovered, please bring it to my attention so that I may make the necessary corrections. Jazak Allah Khair Abdullah Hasan Click
on the links below to access sections of the hadith Index. In the
hadith index, click on a word in the table of contents to go to the word. NOTE: I am linking the hadith to the database set
up at DEED society at IIUM It is a
slow process so please bear with me Insha Allah. So far A is completed. In the
database there are no links to the hadith listed as a volume and
chapter. There are also no links to
the Mishkat Masabih hadith. The Abu
Dawud hadith are not totally completed in the database, therefore, even
though there is a link, the hadith itself may not be found. |
